Within the framework of the Corsican Circuit 2023, the Corsica Chess Club organizes, with the Echecs Club Ajaccien and the Corsican Chess League, the Purtichju International Chess Open.
The Open takes place in a dream environment, the Hotel Club Marina Viva in Porticcio from Saturday 1st to Friday 7th July. It is composed of 3 tournaments: the International Open +1900 elo with the possibility of standards, the Open -2000 elo and the Youth Open (reserved to the less than 14 years old and -1300 elo). The Open has a prize fund of €11,000.
The tournaments are in 9 rounds and the rate of play is 1h30 + 30 seconds/shot.
